स्वामी विवेकानंद जन्मनाम नरेंद्र नाथ दत्त भारतीय हिंदु सन्यासी और 19 वी शताब्दी के संत रामकृष्ण के मुख्य शिष्य थे। भारत का आध्यात्मिकता से परिपूर्ण दर्शन विदेशो में स्वामी विवेकानंद की वक्तृता के कारण ही पहोचा। भारत में हिंदु धर्म को बढ़ाने में उनकी मुख्य भूमिका रही और भारत को औपनिवेशक बनाने में उनका मुख्य सहयोग रहा।

विवेकानंद ने रामकृष्ण मठ और रामकृष्ण मिशन की स्थापना की, जो आज भी भारत में सफलता पूर्वक चल रहा है। उन्हें प्रमुख रूप से उनके भाषण की शुरुवात “मेरे अमेरिकी भाइयो और बहनों” के साथ करने के लिए जाना जाता है। जो शिकागो विश्व धर्म सम्मलेन में उन्होंने ने हिंदु धर्म की पहचान कराते हुए कहे थे।

उनका जन्म कलकत्ता के बंगाली कायस्थ परिवार में हुआ था। स्वामीजी का ध्यान बचपन से ही आध्यात्मिकता की और था। उनके गुरु रामकृष्ण का उनपर सबसे ज्यादा प्रभाव पड़ा, जिनसे उन्होंने जीवन जीने का सही उद्देश जाना, स्वयम की आत्मा को जाना और भगवान की सही परिभाषा को जानकर उनकी सेवा की और सतत अपने दिमाग को को भगवान के ध्यान में लगाये रखा।

रामकृष्ण की मृत्यु के पश्च्यात, विवेकानंद ने विस्तृत रूप से भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप की यात्रा की और ब्रिटिश कालीन भारत में लोगो की परिस्थितियों को जाना, उसे समझा। बाद में उन्होंने यूनाइटेड स्टेट की यात्रा जहा उन्होंने 1893 में विश्व धर्म सम्मलेन में भारतीयों के हिंदु धर्म का प्रतिनिधित्व किया।
विवेकानंद ने यूरोप, इंग्लैंड और यूनाइटेड स्टेट में हिंदु शास्त्र की 100 से भी अधिक सामाजिक और वैयक्तिक क्लासेस ली और भाषण भी दिए। भारत में विवेकानंद एक देशभक्त संत के नाम से जाने जाते है और उनका जन्मदिन राष्ट्रिय युवा दिन के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

Motivational Biography of Swami Vivekananda

 Swami Vivekananda's birth name Narendra Nath Dutt was an Indian Hindu monk and chief disciple of the 19th century saint Ramakrishna.  The spiritually fulfilling philosophy of India arrived abroad due to the speech of Swami Vivekananda.  He played a major role in promoting Hinduism in India and was instrumental in making India colonial.

 Vivekananda founded the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, which is still running successfully in India.  He is primarily known for starting his speech with "my American brothers and sisters".  In the Chicago World Religion Conference, he said that while identifying Hinduism.

 He was born in a Bengali Kayastha family in Calcutta.  Swamiji's focus was on spirituality since childhood.  His Guru Ramakrishna had the greatest influence on him, from which he knew the right purpose of living, knew the soul of self and served him by knowing the right definition of God and kept his mind constantly focused on God.

 After Ramakrishna's death, Vivekananda traveled extensively to the Indian subcontinent and understood the circumstances of the people in British India.  He later traveled to the United States where he represented the Hindu religion of Indians at the World Religion Conference in 1893.

 Vivekananda took more than 100 social and personal classes of Hindu scripture in Europe, England and the United States and also gave speeches.  In India, Vivekananda is known as a patriotic saint and his birthday is celebrated as National Youth Day.
